Liatroim Fontenoys GAC, in association with Newcastle AC, is proud to present the annual Leitrim 5 mile road race & fun run on Monday 1st April 2013.  Nestled between Castlewellan Forest Park and the Dromara Mountains in stunning valley surroundings, this 5 mile road race offers elite athletes, age group competitors and fitness runners a different, challenging course in Leitrim’s unique, scenic and small village setting. This is a perfect race for anyone in marathon preparation, 10k road race mode, gearing up for the Hill and Dale race series or simply enjoying running for fitness and overall well-being. There will be a  pre-race run of the Leitrim 5 race on Monday 25th March at 6.15pm.

The Leitrim 5 mile road race and 2 mile fun run will now be held on MONDAY 1st APRIL.

The Fun Run will start at 5:00pm and the 5 Mile Race at 6:00pm

Well done to the team today at the Seeley Cup 10K, lots of PB’s.

The club have been allocated 3 club places for the 2013 London Marathon. If you are interested please let Martina know before the AGM on Tuesday 4th December.

The Joe Seeley 10k Raod race will take place on Saturday 17th November 2012. This race, which is the official NI 10k road race championship, will double up as the Club 10k championship as well.  David O’Flaherty, fresh from a blistering 47:05 in Dundrum, will defend his title.  Entries will be paid by the club for this race.  If interested in participating please let me know by text or email by Friday 26th October and I will process your entry.  Please be sure to include your DOB and category in your correspondence.
