There will be a club session at 6:30pm on Tuesday, 15th, at the Newcastle Centre. The session this week will be a 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1 pyramid.

Saturday 8th:  Newcastle/Murlough run in Tollymore 9.30am in preparation for the competition on Saturday 15th. Choice of 3.5 or 7 miles.

Sunday 9th: Recce of the Castlewellan Christmas Cracker course 8:30 am from Castlewellan Upper Square led by Marty McVeigh

Finally the club handicap is on Tuesday 11th December departing from the Newcastle centre at 6.30pm. Anyone wishing to compete should email Joe asap.

This Sunday the posse will be meeting for the Sunday run in the Upper Square in Castlewellan (AKA ‘The Town’) at 8:30am and will be led by Castlewellan’s favourite son, Audey McVeigh. Continue reading →

There will be a club run tomorrow morning meeting at 8.30am at the Spar in Dundrum to run the Gr8 Dundrum race course. Jerome’s ice bath and tay in Newcastle at 10am as usual.

As previously advertised, this week’s session will be 4 x 1 mile efforts.  Meeting at Newcastle Centre at 6:30pm on Tuesday evening.  Hopefully we can have 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00+ groups.  Everyone welcome.

First Tuesday session of the autumn will be tomorrow night in Donard Forest.  Leaving Newcastle Centre at 6:30pm for some hill work.
Next club event wil be Tuesday 18th at 6:30 pm in Castlewellan – Lap of the lake run followed by 2 lap bike on a slightly different course.
