Well done Tom!

The Cultra Charity Challenge, for Children’s Heatbeat Charity took place at a wet and windy Sunday morning at a very hilly Ulster Folk Museum.

The race had two options for the runners; 5k or 10k and the 5k race had two runners from Newcastle: Michael Englishby who ran a very creditable 22:31 and Tom Crudgington aged 14, who came in 3rd with 19:57 minutes.

Well done Tom & to the Born to Run team for organising the race for this very worthwhile cause.

Tom is pictured with his mum Hazel who also ran the 5k race.
