Two Towers
On Saturday the Two Towers race concluded the mountain running season for 2024. The race was hosted by Mourne Runners.
Six Newcastle athletes competed in the race with Tom Crudgington winning the race comfortably in a time of 01:13:59 and strong runs and category wins as follows:

NIMRA, IMRA Ulster Championship Results 2024
Ashley Crutchley won the overall NIMRA title, Davy Hicks was 5th & MV40, Michael McGreevy was 9th, Pearse Brogan was 34th in NIMRA, Tanya Cumming was 2nd lady overall & FV40 winner for NIMRA.
Pearse Brogan was the only Newcastle athlete to complete the Ulsters and finished the championship 22nd.
